Hi, I am a Recovering Perfectionist

Episode #7 - We all feel it creep in from time to time OR deal with it on the regular. That notion to just keep adjusting, perfecting, and putting off the final touches because we want it just so. Or maybe it's never even starting something because...well it's not the 'perfect time.' Many times when we are stuck in a perfectionistic cyclone, there is more going on under the surface. In this episode I dive into the two types of perfectionism I see rear their ugly heads and break them down so that we can move forward. In addition, a deeper dive and look into ourselves to find the culprit of the tendencies can be enlightening and help to move us through this more efficiently.  We chalk it up to a personality trait, but really there are many things that can be done to identify the when, why, and how of your perfectionism. Although attention to detail can come in handy in certain cases, it also can become detrimental if not kept in balance. Come dive into get a deeper knowing of how you can help yourself be the best version of you. Less stress, more creativity. Less restlessness, more rest. Less stagnancy, more freedom.
